It’s a trying period for everyone and after speaking with some of you over the weeks, it struck me that not everyone has easy access to deliveries during this period and that makes receiving calligraphy tools purchased online extremely difficult. I organised this gathering with the intention to let our friends locally and abroad to learn something together with everyday tools they have at home. If you have your calligraphy tools, join at our virtual hangout anyway:

Priority will be given to new participants. If you joined us at our first session, I will keep in touch! (I have other things planned!)

I will be doing 2 re-runs of what we did on 11th April 2020 to accommodate friends that are living in other time zones.

What we focused on during the 1st virtual hangout with our friends:

1. Copperplate Pencil Basics & Strokes

2. Using the names of our friends that are attending this virtual hangout, we’ll try to study the interesting forms and exceptions as much as we can cover during our 1 hour session

Future Gatherings

The next run with basics study at the start of gathering will not be happening anytime soon. Our upcoming gatherings will be focused on example study.

This event is free-of-charge, and you may cancel your spot up to 48 hours before the event day.

But in the event where you have to cancel your spot 48 hours before the event day or no-show, we will have to place you on low-priority queue in the upcoming gatherings. We hope you understand as we have a wait list so we want to make sure the spots are filled up with friends that can commit to spend that 1 hour of time learning with us.
