Join us for our creative gathering (art jam!) on the 14th December, hosted by Nichole from Nicnkotori at Antea Social, a contemporary speciality teahouse located along Tyrwhitt Road.

Our Gathering —

Come 14th December, we are inviting you to join us for an afternoon of creative get together in the comforts of Antea Social’s private loft space. This is a casual gathering suitable for anyone — New comers to western calligraphy and experienced creatives alike. Pick from a wide selection of tea from Antea Social’s menu and enjoy a tea set at our gathering.

What to expect —

Nichole will be curating a couple of calligraphy-related activities that challenges us out of our comfort zones by working collaboratively :

For new comers to western calligraphy —We will prepare some self-guided worksheets & tools for you to use at the gathering..This might not replace a fully-guided workshop, but hopefully give you a chance to learn and chat with other creatives that have gathered with us.

For experienced creatives of the art — bring along your tools & materials (for personal use or you can bring some interesting tools/inks for sharing too). If you are seated next to someone who has zero experience in our art, guide them along once in awhile when you see them facing troubles. If you are keen on a collaborative activity, let’s create a set of stationery to style a table-setup. Feel free to bring your own collection of paper or envelopes too.

Creatives from other disciplines —

You are more than welcome to join us! Feel free to try out the calligraphy worksheets for fun, or bring your art tools and art-jam with us. You can spend this time crocheting, or painting, up to you!

What is included —

Good company and energy, self-guided worksheets & calligraphy inks/pens for new comers to use at the gathering, collection of tools/props for use (table-styling collaborative activity purposes), a tea set from Antea Social

How to Sign Up & Fees —

Public : Welcoming all beginners or seasoned artists to join us. If you are a complete beginner, we will prepare a set of tools & self-guided worksheets for you to try out at the gathering. Please make sure you return us your tools after the gathering. Tea set will be served.

Feast with us this Christmas-

The tea menu selections from Ante Social will be emailed to all confirmed participants early next week.

We will also be preparing light refreshments for everyone. We will inform all confirmed participants on the refreshments that we are preparing.
